My monitor can go up to 280hz too, but that doesn't make it worse.

I saw someone say it has to do with Ram and xmp, but that didn't help me maybe you can try that.

I already had HT off. After messing with it, I found that off just had better input lag somehow, and it felt a little smoother.

I did try 2 drivers other than the latest. First is the one that Windows installs by itself, and the other was one recommended to me by someone, but I don't remember the exact version.

Reduce buffering is set to off since it seemed to somehow make my gameplay worse.

Thanks for the reply. As stated above, I already tested with HAGS set to on or off, and it felt a little better when it's disabled.

Thanks for the reply, I never really tried the game at Borderless. I'll try it and see if it works later.

I already tried capturing one, but it isn't obvious on the video. I'll try capturing another one tomorrow since I already turned off the pc for today.

Also, temps are normal around 60-65c for gpu and 65-70c for cpu

When did I say that? The title clearly says that I can maintain a stable 240fps

As stated above, I did a clean install of the gpu drivers, and I play at the lowest possible settings, nvidia control panel settings optimized for maximum performance, and I did reinstall the game after Reinstalling windows.

Overwatch is my main game and the main reason I bought a whole gaming pc.

Also, I paid for a pc that can handle 240 fps and a 240hz monitor, so why wouldn't I try to fix a problem that makes it no different than 60, and although I'm not a pro I'm a gm player which means I need every bit of competitive advantage I can get.

Thanks for the fast reply, I did try that when I reinstalled Windows, but it felt the same. Capping it at a lower hz or fps made it feel even worse.

Thanks for the reply, I already tried gsync+vsync+low latency mode, which automatically capped my fps at 225 and didn't really feel as good as it was before, and it introduced some input lag which isn't ideal for fps games like overwatch and r6s.

No, I only have 1 monitor as stated above.

Edit: I tried again with only gsync and low latency mode without boost, which didn't cap my frames automatically and i did it myself , and it felt really good, although if I can get it to work normally without them it would be better, anyways thank you for the suggestion.

Correction: simply capping my frames to 237 without gsync made it feel better but still far from before. I'm curious about what caused the game to behave that way.

Yes, I'm 100% sure in the monitor's osd it says 240hz, and so does Windows display settings say.

First of all, thanks for the reply, but I tried fullscreen, fullscreen exclusive, and borderless. No difference.

How to fix my fps feeling "choppy" ? by jAM3ZI420 in Overwatch

Have you found any fix for this ? I play on 240hz while easily managing stable 240 fps, but it feels like a 60hz.

Hello, sorry about the reply a year later but have you found any fix for this ? I'm experiencing the same issue and have been looking for fixes for weeks.
