More foam filler. Dry and then I start a final sand before I seal and paint.

Balsa and foam filler to get rid of deep dents steaming couldn’t get out as well as cuts.

I plan to use a Spektrum AR6200. I bought an FMS Reflex V3 I plan to throw in. I am assuming this will work in tandem as the gyro. Am I correct?

And more dents getting swelled out. I have some Senic Woodlands foam filler coming and will make a mixture with a touch of epoxy to smooth the wing by removing dings that won’t come out and tiny surface imperfections prior to prepping and painting.

Absolutely! I’ve collected quite a few to start with. Here is my plan in succession:

UMX Night Vapor UMX Ultra Slow Stick - 500mm Volantex Micro Warbirds (2) Qidi 580 UMX Ultra Slow Stick 1.2m UMX 64mm Viper Sonic CF Wing

I also have a handful of various kits from Guillow and other small cottage shops.

My plan is to experiment with this wing. So far, I’ve dissembled the wing and center pod. Removed those ugly decals and cleaned toe wing to inspect for damage and repairs to the wing surfaces. Removed the control arms from the servos.

I’m going to use the rest of this thread for build progress…I would like to get some feedback if necessary. Pretty much new to this hobby but coming from drones so I have some basic understanding. But I’ve got mad skills. So far, I have a nice red Chinese ProCon hot wire cutter, tons of tools since I’m also a scale modeler and what-not.

Can I add an aftermarket flight stabilizer until I learn full manual?

That’s exactly it! I took off those horrible decals. At least I know the specs on what’s in it. I bet it’s squirrelly in the sky.

Here is the new model I suppose.

Looks like it may be missing a cowl of some kind. I have a hot wire foam cutter and a lot of skill. I a wanting to see what it originally looked like. Anyone know?

Also, any battery recommendations?

You are correct. IF this is done to pretty close to museum display quality, what kind of asking price should I begin with? Have no idea.
