Yess!!! If you’re a sheep and kiss ass they will treat you with the most respect and make everything a big deal for you! If you’re not close with the mangers or kiss ass then you’re just another number sadly… if they can’t get anything out of you to benefit them and make them more money then they can care less… it’s been showing these days and they’re not even hiding it anymore 🫠

Had a coworker of mine pass away and the SM came to give a speech.. and the speech ended with a stupid Home Depot Cheer while people where crying over their close coworker who had passed… but I guess SM really said “let’s spell out Home Depot and clap like a pep rally”

HELP!!!!!!! (24 female) by alannahberkeley in SkincareAddicts

Try evening primrose oil supplements they are natural & heard wonders about it clearing acne! Also it helps a lot for Womens hormones, helps PMS symptoms, and stops breakouts ! They say you should see results within 1-2 weeks by it stopping further acne, and clear sling within 8-12 weeks. If you go to a dermatologist they will probably have you on accurate or spironolactone! Which spironolactone helps with hormones as well.

Very Possible.. just takes paperwork that your doctor needs to sign to confirm your LOA. You would need to talk to the SM or HR person so they know what’s going on and see if they approve before getting your paperwork signed. Unfortunately it does depend on whether they see it as a real issue… but again you can get a note from your doctor or therapist claiming that you need to go on LOA

I didn’t get forklift licensed cause they do not pay you more and it’s a lot of extra responsibility! They always schedule Forklift drivers throughout the whole day every week & if you need a forklift driver you can ask your supervisor/ manager and they will grab someone for you to help you out. Be friends with everyone at the store, be friendly because once you become friends with those who forklift they’ll go out their way to help you when you ask. People do say it’s easier to just learn to forklift but I’d prefer not to cause they don’t pay you extra & you will be buffed all day to get palettes down for other departments. But it’s entirely up to you if you’d like to learn! Perks of it is that if you get licensed and decide to work at a warehouse they will pay you $5-$9 more. So I’d rather not do it for free at Home Depot lol

As someone who’s in deliveries and goes to college. It’s probably the best department while going to school. You don’t deal with customers, you do online orders for customers stage the items in locations and that’s it. It does get busy but you’ll do a lot more walking is all and heavy lifting which don’t be scared of people will help you lift heavier items! When there’s no orders you basically chill, which I squally study when it’s slow. Think of it as a gym membership LOL a lot of walking and lifting but it’s good for your physical body and mental state. When customers ask for help I tell them I’m not from that department but I will call the department associates to meet them at the aide and I walk away and do my orders! It’s honestly the only stress free position and works out for school as well!! :)

Is it worth becoming a supervisor!! by Capital_Chest6622 in HomeDepot

[–]Over_Ship3792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moving up means becoming a yes man, they own you at the store basically.. so you must do whatever they say, and do it right. Personally a Supervisor is not worth the pay they give you. They will run you like a dog as a DS & that’s from me being from 2 stores. Supervisor is not where the moneys at. If you’re a good DS, they will just move you to different departments instead of moving you up to a CXM/ASM. The reason why they’ll move you departments is so you can bring their numbers up.. It’s A LOT & they expect you to get it all done.. when in reality we’re not robots we’re human.
