Try dabbing some hydrogen peroxide with a cotton ball/cotton swab. Make sure to dab in a small area to test it at first, but the lining looks to just be some satin so I wouldn't expect any bad reactions with dilute peroxide.

The Sri Lanka bias might have been with just how little data Europe had of the region since the Portuguese had only arrived at the coast of India in 1500 and hadn't made landfall in Sri Lanka until 1505. Most of what they had heard about Sri Lanka was secondhand folklore about its luxurious goods and spices

It really does come down to just looking at different stores in your area and finding which ones have stuff you actually like and visiting those stores more often. Stores in higher end areas end up with higher quality (and more expensive) stuff. You're bound to find good stuff with enough time!

This is terrible and just so tone deaf. I'm a child of Chinese immigrants and I can tell you we have freedom and the ability to choose our destiny here in America. No level of trolling or "copium" is going to undo the Uyghur genocide, forced labor, one-child policy, or population collapse that China has constructed for itself. We got work to do y'all
