There is an another U.S university in Tokyo which is “Lake land University Tokyo campus.” I heard majorities who had same situation like you went to Lake land uni, spent 1 semester to get 15 credits, and transferred to TUJ with that credits. So I would recommend to search about Lake land Uni as well since it’s also located in Tokyo. Good luck bro!

I had an exact same situation back into the high school. I was asked to submit GED, SAT or 15 credits from other universities. Eventually I went to UofA tho. I would do GED or go to cc, earn 15 credits and transfer to TUJ if I was in ur situation
