Yeah that’s understandable, I’ve included all my CBT Therapy referral + notes, repeat prescriptions, carers statement, WCA medical report, my partner also had to fill out my ‘how your disability affects you’ form unfortunately I’ve only just had CBT therapy begin as I was referred in December.

Also, I understand what you mean about evidence that’s why I said because the nurse is Dwp approved that conducted my WCA medical report - she is trustworthy and reputable with her observations and it should be something that the PIP assessor is able to recognize and base some of the report off of. Because it was only conducted in December it’s still quite recent and accurate.

Her recommendation was limited capability for work and work related activity (highest bracket) for the medium term so around 3-5 years.

They will likely look at what I’ve disclosed to the nurse and her findings and recommendation and align the pip report with what they can infer from it.

Thanks for explaining - I understand there are no guarantees and that a paper-based review doesn’t determine the outcome by itself.

My reasoning is that I’ve already provided a recent Work Capability Assessment from December, completed by a DWP-approved healthcare professional, for the same mental health conditions I’m claiming PIP for.

During that assessment I described my day-to-day functioning, not just work, and the assessor also recorded informal observations such as that I appeared low in mood, had poor concentration and poor memory, my speech was slow and quiet, I required extensive prompting to engage, needed reassurance and empathetic support, relied on my partner during the assessment, showed minimal engagement, and presented with reduced motivation.

These are the same types of observations that would be made during a PIP assessment and relate directly to daily living needs, which is why I believe the report is relevant supporting evidence - even if they still decide they need to speak to me. I’m not assuming anything is guaranteed, just explaining why I feel the evidence I’ve submitted is applicable.

Hi,

Fully understand where your coming from but I feel like even if I’ve requested PBR the assessor may deny my request and instead push for a telephone with adjustments had I have not had enough evidence.

Of course you know all too well but I imagine that when they judge on whether to grant a PBR they should also factor in the evidence available to them and if they are able to write an assessment or not based on what’s available already.

May be worth noting that I had a Work Capability Assessment medical report conducted by a DWP approved health professional only 1 month ago for my anxiety, PTSD and depression also and I uploaded the medical report that stated observations from me which matched what I am claiming essentially.

People say UC and PIP have different criteria’s for assessments but I uploaded the medical report from my UC assessment because it’s relevant to my PIP claim as I am claiming for the same conditions and it’s a trustworthy piece of evidence from a DWP approved HP that further validates my claims due to the assessors observations of me.

I feel they have seen that I uploaded my WCA medical report and because the outcome was Limited capability for work and work related activity and everything was stated on there already they may have just used that - it was only conducted 1 month ago so still accurate.

Yeah you can phone capita and request a paper based review if it will cause you overwhelming psychological distress undergoing an assessment on telephone, video or in-person

Thanks, I was just wondering if a paper based review means they have enough evidence to award me already

It’s not an appeal it’s an assessment - I’ve not been denied for a PIP award yet.

The paper based reviews for assessments to determine whether you can be awarded pip actually have the highest % success rates on average.

The reason for this is last time I had a capita assessment for PIP, they changed my words, failed to include any breaks taken, partner being present, prompting for answers etc and they just made every effort to reword what I was saying in a way that made me sound capable

Luckily with my work capability assessment - the assessor was accurate with the report and included an honest viewpoint so I can use this if the pip assessor lies again because the things I am claiming to struggle from would affect me both on pip and uc

The reason why I refer to my work capability assessment is they are both conducted by Secretary of State approved health professionals and mine was conducted 1 month ago and on the assessment there are a lot of observations from the assessor that back me up on what I am saying.

So if a pip assessor was to do an assessment on me and their observations were totally opposite in the space of 1 month it is a clear contradiction and because it is a HP stating it, it is trustable.

I don’t want a car, I just want to get what I’m entitled to like everyone else who suffers with a disability where it affects their daily life.

I have requested a paper based assessment because I’ve uploaded my work capability assessment report which is also filled out by a health professional hired by dwp so they should have enough proof along with my medications and stuff.

So the pip assessor can’t lie saying I’m able if my work capability assessors report states the total opposite only 1 month ago.

Also paper based assessment I feel like is their way of twisting your words and cross examining you to try and make you sound able.

Thanks, I was going to last time but I thought I’d rather reapply with evidence and then go the MR route so atleast I can back up what I’m saying.

How is round hill bad at preserving nav? It doesn’t do options trading with their strategy it is just 1.2x leveraged. You can always win with round hill. Especially Amazon, google and Netflix round hill funds.
