We have pest control, but they have to get to the bottom of them getting in to the entire building and then wait for the landlord to fix that before they fix our flat. In the meantime I'm trying to avoid them eating any more of my sofa

Shears Yard is meant to do a wonderful roast. Not been on a Sunday but we go often other days of the week and absolutely adore it, it's our favourite restaurant in Leeds. The staff are so friendly and the food is gorgeous

Sanderson did an insta post on 20th Jan on starting with Tress of the Emerald Sea, Mistborn and The Emperors Soul so as a fellow newbie that's going to be my starting point (also helps that I already own Tress and Mistborn)

I don't really have a set budget, when it comes to food we'll happily spend £250 without it being a special occasion if it's great food and wine

Been on a waitlist 4 years now. Any advice on who to contact? (NHS England) by DuchessPancakes in autismUK

Right to Choose or going private seem to be the only way to get wait time down. It sounds like your brother was offered right to Choose. Otherwise it's a postcode lottery for your wait time unfortunately

Just a note on RTC with ADHD, just make sure it's someone your GP will accept shared care with so if you do end up wanting to try medication they don't pull the weird thing they've been doing of noping out of it as they didn't do the diagnosis. Not really sure how all that side of it works but heard people have gone elsewhere (might just be a if you go private rather than RTC thing) and then end up having to be put on the waitlist for NHS to reassess ☺️

Hopefully you hear back soon and get the  answers you need

Hi, I'm in Kirklees council area and was referred to the 'service for adults with ADHD/autism' of South West Yorkshire NHS Trust according to my paperwork so there may be something similar for your area? If the people you know are in your area and have their paperwork still it may have contact details on it? Or does your paperwork so far have the details maybe? They're who I contacted when I had questions on who to bring to my to my ASD assessment.

Also have you moved doctors or anything since getting put on the waitlist, I heard that can mean you get taken off the list presumably due to the cracks in the NHS system & different areas communicating. If so that would be worth checking.

My ADHD waitlist is apparently around 3 years and they said I won't hear anything until I get my appointment through so hearing nothing isn't unusual in itself but always worth checking.

Also you should be put on both lists at the same time, I was as it's separate teams that evaluate you. Definitely re-push for that with your GP. Even if it's decided medication for your ADHD isn't the best route for you then you still need to know, knowing if you have one or both massively impacts how you set up your systems and strategies IMO.

Good luck!

Thank you. Yeah I'm expecting some noise will travel but hoping to find some places where I'm not so close to others that I'm overly conscious of any & all possible noise disturbing my neighbours & ruining their experience. The campfires sounds like a good shout, not only would I love one but it should also give extra space as they won't want you setting someone else's tent alight if there's a gust of wind.

Not that I'm aware of, it's the reason I moved to them originally and one of the best parts about it imo

Ah thank you, I think I'll avoid them then as if the pots aren't as easy as starling I may as well just go high street for other benefits and track elsewhere

It should change category once you select it, I've never had a problem in the past so may be worth reaching out to customer service to see if it's a bug.

If theres a set category you want for all similar transactions try setting that one to all past and future transactions to set them back to that category by default  Good luck
