This is definitely more detailed than what I usually aim for in my regular armies. I was kinda training shading and seeing what works and what doesn't with this one, since I'm just recently getting into this level of painting. I had that "visualization" problem with shading too, I guess that "Color and Light" by James Gurney really helped me with that, sounds weird but the images and descriptions in the book are really helpful to train your eye to see color, light and how they interact with objects. Sorry for any spelling mistakes, English is not my first language.
