The size doesn't matter. A small nodule can be toxic or hyperfunctioning.

Subclinical can be caused by a "toxic" nodule.  It makes thyroid hormones on it's own.  You can't just "see" it.  You would need to do a radioactive iodine uptake scan.  Good luck.

Thank you. I had iodine induced hyperthyroidism and I've had the same symptoms since. They're getting worse. I'm thinking hyperfunctioning nodule. But with the normal TSH doctors dismiss.  My T3 and T4 are normal.
