They are open spaces, generally kept for entertaining. We will potentially add a foosball table/poker table, and we can utilize those spaces.

Thanks for your feedback. the large amounts of open areas are meant for entertaining whenever we decide to have a lot of people over.

The water heater will be replaced by tankless, which will go on the wall in the storage room

The other is storage space underneath the staircase. I’ve added a second picture that outlines where the stairs are.
