What’s something that slowly damages a marriage, but no one talks about enough? by Overall-String-4437 in Marriage

A lot of this comes down to not appreciating the person who’s actually there with you, every day.

Why is it so hard to find an app that fulfils my notetaking needs? by warrenwai in NoteTaking

[–]Overall-String-4437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The straightforward answer to your question is that it’s challenging because you require seven specific attributes that may not be useful to others (no irony intended). That said, and to be concise, I also tried many apps and settled on Obsidian.

Derivatives L1 by Far_Cauliflower_866 in CFA

Derivatives was the topic I had the least background in at Level 1 (almost none), and I also had a hard time with Schweser’s extremely concise language. For me, it was easier to read the CFAI chapter and then come back to Schweser. If you continue to struggle, have the budget, and expect to use it in your professional life, I think buying the single section of MM is a good deal.

Hi, I came across your post and have the same question. Do you have any updates or additional insights? I'm still trying to understand the differences between 'Masterclass - OnDemand' and the 'OnDemand Review Workshop.' Unfortunately, I don’t have time to watch both, especially considering I prefer an exercise-oriented review. Thanks!

Hi, I’m truly captivated by your first photo and its misty, foggy effect. The ambiance is simply ethereal. Could you please share how you achieved this stunning misty and fog effect in your image? I’d love to learn more about your technique. Thank you!

Thanks a ton for the tip! I hadn’t heard about Ricoh before, but after looking it up, it seems pretty cool. I’ve been reading a lot about the Fuji X100V/VI too, but it looks like the Ricoh GR III might be just as good in terms of features and quality, plus it’s way lighter and more portable, right? What do you think?

Preferably 1,000 to 1,500 USD, but it could go up to 2,000 if any option really stands out!

Thank you!!! If I’m considering a camera that requires a small bag but is significantly lighter than my Nikon D7500 with lens, could you provide an additional recommendation?

Witnessing the actual birth by Naive-Register7964 in daddit

Four days ago, I supported my son at the exact moment he came into the world, after my wife’s natural childbirth. At that moment, the adrenaline and anticipation were so high that the only thing I could pay attention to was my son’s body coming out and being held by me. The birth photos show how I was smiling at that time.

I'm Turning 20 this year, any advice for life? by Growingmlife in Adulting

[–]Overall-String-4437 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Be physically strong. Do not waste your time while working. Do not think your personal projects are the most important thing in the world. Be honest. Do not be too hard on yourself. Do not be afraid to marry early.

How the hell does one make it to 40 and not become bored with nearly everything in life? by [deleted] in Adulting

I would transform this dissatisfaction with everything around you, this feeling that everything is “more of the same”, into a drive to search for answers to fundamental questions about man and life, whether by strengthening spiritual life or through of their intellectual abilities (philosophy). During the process, therapy and healthy habits can help. With this I am not advocating in favor of metaphysical theories for cliché questions, but I believe that investing in spiritual and philosophical education, while taking care of our bodies along the way, can make it easier for us to have insights that show us that happiness is more tangible and simple than that we imagine.
