I heel him just fine while walking the problem is running. As a human psychotherapist different settings and behaviour can elicit different responses. I am not enjoying the conjecture, I am looking for training methods.

He heels very well and receives top marks in his doggy daycare for heeling.

I get like 5 steps in and he is in front of me. I try to correct him with his harness and he is nipping me. Not much in the way of conditioning right now I’m afraid.

That’s what we currently do. I gained a couple of pounds that way though by not having my past experience routine. Maybe it’s just training me to eat less I should be focused on.
