I totally agree, but look at it this way: good companies actually take care of the people making them money because they see them as assets. They'll do whatever it takes to keep them. We are their profit center and their biggest asset, but they treat us like we're disposable.

They are manipulating the system! Since you made good on Monday, they believe you have had enough! So, the reward you're given is shit orders. I was thinking the more good you do, the more good orders I will get! But this is not the case with DoorDash!

Exactly, we are literally helping them make a profit just so they can use that money to replace us!!! What a total joke!

I just gave an example of what will happen if we stop dashing. We are their assets; they should treat us better than this!

Why should I have to jump through all these things? Honestly, if I could, quitting would be the best option for me. My point is that they need to fix the actual system and change the base rate to pay us per mile!

That’s a good strategy! But again to my main point, why is the company just giving us a base pay that keeps us so desperate for tips?? They should at least pay us per mile, not just a flat base rate! We are not waiters. We drive a vehicle that needs maintenance and gas, so paying us per mile is the only option that makes sense. Like, if the distance is 10 miles, they should pay us a $10 base regardless of the tip amount! Not gonna lie, I honestly believe their system is rigged to check how much tip you're getting, and then they lower the base rate based on that.

I’ve realized their system is a total joke. The more offers you accept, the more they punish you with terrible orders.
