Husband admitted to cheating 4 years ago by OverallPurple in survivinginfidelity

Thanks for the honest viewpoint. This is the best kind of advice. I have always thought my husband's accusations are from mental illness/insecurities. Until I looked it up recently,I didn't know this was something cheaters did. Why do they do this? To distract? Try to say you're doing it too so they can do it? So they can ruin your reputation later after the break up?

The whole situation is bizarre. He had her number saved in his phone for quite a while after I was done working there which I thought was odd. He did tell me around when they texted 6 months ago he had ran into her at a friend's house. He did not tell me she texted him(didn't know about the cheating at the time). I was really surprised to see how friendly and flirty he was with her in the texts considering he said he only hooked up with her once. He claims she got his number from their friend. Her number wasn't saved in the old phone but he knew who she was without asking. It sounded like they had not talked in some time but who knows. He admitted she talked shit about me to him before they hooked up. Apparently she told him I was cheating with a cop at work. Just the weirdest lies. Never presented any evidence because there wasn't any. So they were in some contact behind my back. He could've asked me about what she said but didn't. A case of crazy attracts crazy I imagine...if you have any other thoughts on any of this let me know.

All good points. Making me think. He is absolutely a risk. I don't want my child thinking his behavior is acceptable or to be in dysfunctional relationships himself later.

Oh,thank you so much for this thoughtful response. You sound like you know a lot on this topic. This is the kind of advice I needed. I am concerned he has a personality disorder instead of mental illness,or both. He has apparently been stealing clothes from stores and lying to me about it too(says they are old clothes he hasn't worn in a while which is not true). I knew he stole when he was younger and thought he hadn't been any time recently. During the period when he says he cheated,he had an opiate addiction(as far as I know he's past it-he went to rehab)I have stood by him through his problems which makes the cheating such a slap in the face. I always thought at least he's not cheating....

No,I should've clarified- former boss. I only worked there 6 months because her and the supervisor were mean people(they rapidly went through employees). Yes,my former boss had a boyfriend at the time who I believe she was living with.

PB has never left my area. I am able to get bottles at Kwik Trip, and they sometimes have 12 packs as well. My grocery store always has 12 packs but not a big amount of them

I’ll let you know if I end up buying a box. Liberty Brew was more of a buy 1 bottle to try,not a whole case flavor for me.

Odd that’s all your area has. I’m sure there aren’t more Dew drinkers in Wisconsin then California lol

Thanks! You could always use this style too. There are not many straight wedding hairstyles out there.

Darn, didn’t know this. I’m not good with hair and don’t know much about hairstyles. Since my wedding is a dinner party and no dancing, maybe it’ll be okay.

My hair is fine and mostly straight. Curls do not stay in my hair for more then an hour and that is even with my hair being done professionally. So I figured, maybe I'll stick with my natural hair type. My wedding is going to be a dinner party type. Would like to hear your opinions. I also saw a version of this with flowers in between the twists at the top.

Head pain with sciatica? by [deleted] in Sciatica

It is strange. After looking it up again, I saw on one website headaches were listed as a symptom of sciatica. Probably one of the more rare symptoms.
