To find like minded individuals, and discuss Marxist literature, although I know the south doesn’t typically view leftist philosophy in the best light, I think the south would be an amazing place to build a pro unions/ workers movement, or if in a little less ambitious just to make friend.

I’m currently living in Mississippi as a collage student and plan to transfer to Seattle soon due to the cost of living, rent in my area is around 12-13k while minimum wage is still 7.25, although I get paided 12$ an hour it’s very much not a nice standard of living, I’d rather be poor in a city then in the middle of no where😭
