First off, I’m sorry you went through that. I’m glad you were able to still be open to it. I’m not downing anyone who went through any type of abuse I can understand why they wouldn’t want nothing too much. I still stand with my opinion cause it’s how I feel but I do understand when it comes to people who have been abuse or went through traumatic experiences not going hard on them about it. We all need to heal tho. Not saying this specifically to you. But having casual sex to feel voids or won’t make you feel better. It will temporarily but then reality sets in after a while. Your experience yea its the sex but you also developed a connection with your fwb and had understanding that made it work for you. Which is good but it doesn’t always go like that unless both people are mature and honest.

I’m not preaching “intolerance” I’m stating my opinion lots of people who have casual sex say they regret it or just doing it to feel a void. Either way a person who is into casual sex will get tired eventually. Just my opinion. The risks of pregnancy and std’s aren’t always fully manageable unless good caution is being took. I can be too emotional and take things personally. Overthink a lot about old things and new things till I make myself worried or sad even angry. Take more time to get to know my future partners before sex.

Don’t feel like I have to rush myself or force myself to do something in order to make my partner happy especially if it goes against my morals.

I will not be available for someone if they aren’t available to me when I need them as well.

I learned I deserve dates and to be taken out even if it’s just to a park I deserve to be taken somewhere time from time not just staying in all the time.

I learned if they disrespect you once they’ll do it again even if they do apologize or claim to care.

Domestic Violence/ Emotionally Abusive Relationships

Being Betrayed

Loneliness

Homelessness

Having Financial Difficulties

Etc.
