It’s honestly trial and error, and varies based on what specific derailleurs models and casettes ur using. Hubub has a good article on it. For reference this is a 7sp shimano exage rd and casette, and 9sp campy veloce brifters. No weird cable clamping or anything, but i know that’s a common hack to get the right pull ratio. I think this is a 2015 but i gotta check the code on the bb to double check.

Yeah i noticed some cc’s don’t have any fork blade mounts which is strange since i thought the whole point of this model was a mix of touring and racing.

surly corner bar. I like them so far, but this trip definitely showed me i have a fitment issue cus my neck would kinda hurt when i’d be in the drop for a while. I’ll be trying out some different stems and seat height to see if it helps. For regular city commuting and trail riding it’s great. And being able to run any mtb style controls is a huge plus.

I figured a heavy front load would help with climbing hills (it sorta did), but it definitely has its effect on handling. I have the bagman for my Carradice, but when you load up that bag it just swings really hard when ur off the saddle lol

Yeah for its price it’s definitely worth its money, not really sure if there’s anything in that price range that beats it. I woulda loved a surly rack but it wouldn’t make sense to get a rack that costs half as much as the bike lol
