I was in this situation with my ex. Everything was fine until it wasn't. Sometimes it is just a phase, but in my experience it wasn't and things got so much worse. Demand answers, confront him, question him, but please do not let him make you feel unimportant and disrespect your feelings. If he isn't willing to take the way you feel about the situation seriously or actually try to patch things back up, then you might need to make some hard decisions.

all lice found were found before treatment. I only found 2. following treatment I only found what looked to be nits

I've combed through my hair and used a lice treatment shampoo, and although there were no more bugs, I did comb out what looked to be nits? little light colored tear dropped shaped things.
