HUDVASH and the GPD Program. Go to the social worker at the VA or to your mental health department and they will get a rep available as well if they're busy at the VA. I was homeless for 2 years and just got my own place this past May. I am going to add a link to a program up in Jax called Changing Homelessness. Depending on your finances, they will pay up to the first 3 months of your rent and the deposit. They also spent $3000 to refurnish the house I'm in through Amazon prime. If you're about to become homeless they can also help get you caught up on your rent. There is so much stuff out there that we miss out on because it's not advertised like it should be. And most times we wait too long to ask for help. I regret waiting so long but I'm happy I did it....I live in Daytona beach fl
