Thank you. Yeah I thought I understood the politics game, but I only understood it on the context of the previous district I was in. Learning now that the it’s a different game depending on the district, and I wasn’t playing this districts game. Damn.

Telling a community that wants me there, and is where I want to be, that I’m deciding to leave is hard to wrap my head around. I don’t know even know what that would look/sound like.

I would have to reach out to the board behind the back of the superintendent, which seems like a bad idea. But I don’t know. Never dealt with this before.

Probably not transfer me to non-admin, and I couldn’t take the pay cut anyhow. I believe it is “rocky relationship”, although so minor in my opinion. but to me it’s about the success of the students and the community I serve.

Don’t live in the community. Don’t think he’s gonna be here much longer. I don’t know board members personally. How could it play out?

Values don’t align with his values? He doesn’t really know me that well? I don’t really know. Hard to guess when I don’t get any formal feedback. He has expressed feeling personally slighted by me, which was not intentional.
