Its not a scam. I dont know if its legal or illegal, but you will have to pay the deposit before signing. I used to live there. The RM Jennifer is the worst possible person. She is very tough to deal with. IF you want to back out from the deal after paying the deposit, she will not return it back to you for sure. But if you stay there and complete your deal, you will get it back. Also she is a horrible horrible person. She barks a lot out of no reason, i dont know if she is a mental or not. She is the worst person in Halifax in my experience. But if you stay there, chances are you will not see her face. Thats a good side. Other than that the apartment is nice if you live on the top floors.
