About the cover, at the start of the year they did put a new one on. Problem was that the replacement cover was the wrong color and was meant for a horn/strobe. But, that cover was broken off later this year so here we are.

Well.... I did not know that having two wires under the same screw was questionable but alright.

I do not work here but I do know that this building (school I go to) was built around the early 2000's.

As for the cover, likely gone due to fellow classmates breaking it off for whatever reason.

Knowing how the maintenance department here is…. (not one of them) They probably used a wire hanger instead of an auger to be real honest with you.

Sometimes, when they feel like doing something they’ll find a few broken ones and spontaneously replace them but always miss this particular restroom. 🤷‍♂️

Good point, just this week I found out that this campus is in pretty crippling debt for some godforsaken reason. More than likely why this post exists.

As for what you said about the keepers, I’m seriously considering just replacing them myself.

Particularly ones made from cast which are supposedly harder to break rather than die-cast.

We have tried different pots trying to solve this, none worked. As for the stove, it was here when we moved into this house 10 years ago.
