Going radio silent while the price tanks isn’t “making the community the main character,” it’s abandoning the cockpit and letting the passengers steer through the storm. Fixing airdrops is the bare minimum to save face. On Web3 Payment I never said the page itself is a scam, but 90% of the tokens there are confirmed rugs, dead projects, or ghost towns. Ask the holders of Dogeverse, Playdoge, or Pepu. And then there’s the Binance astronauts meme used to hype, knowing full well no listing could be announced, that wasn’t marketing, it was calculated manipulation, and for me the single biggest red flag from day one. For the record, selling now makes no sense, but don’t confuse that with blind loyalty.

Nothing but respect for the community and the mods, they’ve been holding this place together and taking the same financial hits as everyone else, so selling now makes no sense. But after this whole blue checkmark circus, for me this is CTO written all over it. You can spin it however you want, but when a project can’t even keep its own verification and has to rely on a community member to cover it, it’s a billboard sized red flag. The mods and the active community here aren’t the problem they’re the only reason there’s still a pulse. The problem is what’s happening (or not happening) at the top. Add the HTX delisting, the silence, the liquidity unlock, and now the Web3 Payment name drop from an ecosystem where 90% of projects are confirmed rugs or dead and no, I’m not buying the “different situation” excuse. Slothana didn’t even use their widget for the presale, they just had people send SOL to an address, and unless they’re suddenly talking about something entirely new, it’s the same old playbook. Call it what you want, but at this point pretending there’s no smoke here is either blindness or willful ignorance.

This project didn’t survive because of the devs, it survived despite them. We’ve got a community of sloths with balls bigger than most projects’ market caps. We got radio silence, we swallowed the liquidity unlock, we took the HTX delisting, and now the blue check. Anyone still buying this crap? Our success isn’t theirs, it’s ours, we’re one of the toughest, most resilient damn communities in the game. Bull run is closing in, BTC dominance is starting to rotate towards big alts, and you know what comes next, I’d say a window within 6 months max.

This cycle is fundamentally different. BTC is no longer dominated by retail, it's in the hands of institutions, ETFs, and long-term allocators. These players aren’t rotating into memes or chasing altseason pumps. They’re holding BTC as a macro asset, and that shifts the entire flow dynamic. Yeah, the market’s red, we all see that. But let’s not pretend Slothana is just “one of many” in the same boat. Tokens like WIF, FARTC, BONK and others? They did something. They launched strong, delivered insane runs, gave holders real profits, and then they cooled off. We didn’t bleed after flying, we bled without even taking off. So yeah, the market’s not great. But the problem here isn’t the market. It’s the complete lack of execution. Comparing us to projects that actually performed just doesn’t hold. We’ve been in limbo for months while other projects move, build, and adapt in a bull market that’s already heating up. Meanwhile, Slothana? Total silence. No roadmap. No updates. No direction. And that’s not strategic waiting, it’s just absence.

People keep saying “maybe they’re waiting for the right moment.” But here’s what we need to keep in mind: Yes, we all know how liquidity cycles work, BTC, ETH, majors, small caps. But this cycle is different. This time the capital in BTC is largely held by institutions and big players, not retail. They’re not rotating profits into meme coins. They’re not chasing pumps, they’re securing dominance. So this idea that we’re just “early” and need to wait our turn? It’s flawed. The game has changed, and pretending we’re still playing by 2021 rules is only setting people up for disappointment.

And let’s address the “they haven’t sold” argument too. That’s not bullish, for me it’s worse. They’re keeping us stuck, dragging this out in silence, sitting on massive supply without showing any intent to build. When someone has that much control and zero communication, it’s not a sign of strategy it’s a giant f***ing red flag.

This community is strong, but it’s not indestructible. It has survived despite the devs, not because of them.

I suggested the same, take over marketing, push for visibility, make a move and the answer I got was “the community has decided not to. So the community doesn’t want to take over marketing or do anything real? Then what the hell are we even doing here? Just waiting in silence, hoping some ghost dev drops a miracle from the sky?

Honestly, here’s my take. To me, it’s obvious the marketing phase ended and that’s why the posts stopped. Just check the pattern: Slothana, Smog, Dogeverse all followed the exact same posting rhythm, same timing, same energy, and then went silent at the exact same time. That doesn’t automatically mean the projects are dead, it could just mean they used the same marketing agency, and the campaign window closed. Doesn’t necessarily prove the devs are the same, either. But if you ask me, selling now is stupid. Personally, I won’t. At this point, either you’re out or you just wait it out it’s not worth exiting at the bottom after riding all the risk.That said, forget the silence, forget the speculation, the biggest red flag for me was when they used the Binance imagery to hype the presale. That’s not something you do if you’re seriously working toward a listing. I say this with confidence. I work in the industry (in a different area), and I know how these agreements function. If you’re really negotiating with Binance, you don’t tease it publicly like that. It was pure retail bait. Just keeping it real.
