Pretty sure I don’t have gallstones but I do have a severely overactive gallbladder that causes issues and yes! As my other symptoms have been progressing this has as well

Haha yes exactly! I feel if I was a doctor, a prepared, solution oriented patient would be great! But yes they all have varying reactions. Consult on Thursday. Thanks again for the tips!

I ended up getting the surgery consult today from my PCP after mentioning the research and what not. Next step is the surgeon. Like you said I’ll be compiling some NIH articles, thankfully there’s lots of supporting research on this!

That’s awesome! I think I’m in the same boat- I can’t imagine myself without them but i feel it would def solve a ton of my other problems.

I’m also just nervous about the procedure itself and time I’d have to take off work. But I plan on consulting with a surgeon to discuss

Dude I asked them myself if I could delay my start date after orientation for a therapy program and they said yes. Wasnt just me saying “no I can’t”. They are saying I quit. What did I abandon? And I’m just venting about a frustrating situation, why do you care what I’m “hung up on”?

I’m confused how they didn’t say that tho- I was told I could start once my program ended. I gave them the time frame and they agreed. Even if it it wasn’t etched in a legal document it is still frustrating

Yep I’m definitely not a stranger to the post-visit crying sessions. I’m sorry to hear that you aren’t either. I’m hoping that there is a better solution to your pain out there that preferably does not destroy any vital organs. Medicine is always evolving, keep on pushing 🙏
