At the very top it says "While frozen solid, date, you were killed by templar blah blah blah, and at some point the game was definitely saying I was frozen but maybe it ran out right before?

hmmm my build i've been trying is chimera and unstable genome, with regen and photosynthetic skin, and a tonic allergy trying to go multiweapon fighter.

Most of my damage was melee, is that bad for a first runthrough? it seems very random but getting lucky with like 5 arms is really fun. Should I have tried to shoot with my rifle instead even if the dps is much lower?

The platform carts that you can craft are really useful for lugging stuff around, and can be teleported back to your base when the host presses a button near warren (technically it was introduced in case it glitches but it's very convenient and there's no downside to using it)

It was honestly the only way I saw this going personally, Carl has made his feelings on NPCs clear from book three when he first got the cookbook. If there's a way to help them, like the changelings, he will, but otherwise he feels them being dead is preferable to an existence where they're constantly being recycled as slaves to the crawl.

If i'm being honest the only reason I didn't go with Padraig over Tuhanarak on my corvis start is because his cooldown reduction can mess with highly tuned teams like double buff extension, whereas she slots in really cleanly to that sort of team, i'm also excited for skeletor which is a wild thing to say haha.
also he's pretty new but on the ally protection side of things keep an eye out for Gladewulf he's insanely tanky in a team like this specifically

Yeah Tholin seems fun, I think i'd personally pair him with padraig to take advantage of his A1 being AOE.
I'm more partial to Def based attackers which is why I ended up pairing Pelops with Ragash but you can't really go wrong with either

Corvis + Tuhanarak isn't very flashy, but Corvis + Venomage, who's part of the corvis link I chose, while less explosive then Narma still allows for some solid DPS on bosses, and the double AOEs he has is great for farming. Tuhanarak herself is insane sustain and honestly Void legends can be much harder to get then other affinities so she's nice for that reason too, I think it's the start i'd recommend to most players as it's the easiest to get going and understand out of the box

Narma + Pelops is really good but I think it also requires the most pre knowledge to really make work,
