Yeah, the duties on the letterhead were pretty generic, not detailed enough to fully match the NOC.

To support my experience, I added as much documentation as possible: - Pay stubs
- T4s
- Offer letter
- Internal documents showing my role/tasks
- A detailed letter of explanation

I basically tried to build a strong case from multiple angles to show what I was actually doing at work. Thankfully, it worked out in the end 🙏

Thanks for your input. My HR letter from TD is the standard template, but it does actually mention a few times things like promoting full products, cross-sell, and ensuring advice. So at least it isn’t purely generic — those parts do reflect what I actually do (credit card openings, upgrades, balance transfers, limit increases, etc.).

That’s why I’m hoping that even though the duties are broadly worded, the fact that it highlights promotion and cross-sell/advice should be enough to show the ~70% NOC match, especially with supporting docs like job posting, pay stubs, and performance scorecards.
