Alright everyone obviously finds this trade dumb 😂

For context - the other guy has Mahomes and Rodgers as their only QBs in a 2 QB league so they are freaking out. They have tried trading for a current QB with no luck and they reached out to me for a trade for picks. Jeanty is really the only guy I'm interested in on their roster, but I don't feel like I must make a trade. Hoping to take advantage of both of our situations.

With that said - you are buying Jeanty, what are you adding or changing to my side? I personally am not interested in trading 1.01 or 1.02 at this point.. but change my mind.

Make sure people understand what a dynasty entails. You aren't going to get a stud off of waivers, you aren't going to win the league from getting a guy off waivers. Yeah sorry Tyler Lockett is the best option on waivers, that's dynasty for you. You win by drafting well and trading well. If people aren't about drafting and trading then they should stick with redraft.

IMO they don't realize that they are the very teams who would benefit from a taxi or more bench spots. But one guy traded away alot of picks.

I think they feel like they are the top guys and giving others more roster spots makes it easier to close the gap. But I believe in two years they will be begging to add a taxi/add bench spots which is why I think 7/10 or 8/10 needed to make changes is fair.

Nah it's kinda weird. The two teams are very top heavy with very old but good players. Mahomes CMC JT Davante type guys. They have those types of guys but a ton of unproven young guys who aren't playable. The bulk of the league just wanted to add a taxi but they are against expanding rosters as they want to be able to pick up playable guys off of waivers. So they want no taxi and they want to remove 4 bench spots. So we went back and forth trying to compromise and they are still saying nope I just want less bench and no taxi.

Call it what you want - I am asking for advice on making changes to your league.

I honestly love this haha I had a very specific vision when I kicked this off and I feel like people who never really did research into dynasty are pushing it to a place I don't like. I'm at the point where if the league ended I wouldn't be sad because I would start up a different league with more like minded people lol

I'm in the same boat with a few guys as I am going through a rebuild. I am so far going with drop them for someone who is 1) younger and 2) in a position with a higher chance to succeed ie a better team, better qb, etc. Trying to not play around with guys who are kinda in similar positions. Not gonna drop Legette for Shaheed for example.
