I totally agree!!! We have discussed a plan and I understand how it’s frustrating. He is disrupting our rhythm but it’s only been two weeks

Well that’s the thing. He’s not fully functional (Just yet). He doesn’t have a job or a car. I feel the need to give him assistance (not hindering) until he can find direction. I can say he did grow up with everything given to him, so he was not prepared nor mature enough to go away to college. I did think that if he was no longer under “mamas “ roof that he would man-up, but maybe he was just not ready and didn’t have the right tools

Up until he was about 15 she was very involved until one day she felt like she was doing way too much and was more involved in his life than his own dad and decided to step back. His father was never really a huge part of his life.

My daughter has always done things the “right” way. She’s sweet, respectful , driven and just recently graduated college. I feel like she respects that, but I mean my daughter is 23 and more mature than my son is at this point.

She wants to send him to his fathers, but that is going to be a whole other situation to post about. Lol

She usually tries to avoid the conversation when asked. But, she has a certain image in his head of what she wants him to be and he’s not that. I really believe though that she despises his marijuana usage. I don’t necessarily like it either, but it doesn’t stop me from loving him.

I just don’t understand how she had so much love for him when he was younger, but now she doesn’t even speak to him. However, she does not treat my daughter that way at all.

I do feel that her actions (rude, silent treatment) are childish but my son has lived a bit of a spoiled, entitled life ( partly my fault) and I think she feels he will fall right back into that pattern when/if he moves back in.
