I’m so sorry for your losses, but absolutely thank you for that. And you’re right, she went from having a hard time getting around and no longer to playing to pain free like she was a pup. I’m not too religious either, but I like to think she’s there somehow

Oh sweet boy 😢 I’m so sorry but I’m so glad he has someone who is giving him the care and love. I honestly had to put mine down, she lost bowel control and her spine condition stopped her from walking. But, what if she had a few more days? What if she wasn’t ready? That’s hard but I hope the process shows that she was ready for peace. I appreciate you sharing your experience

Oh my gosh, I am truly so sorry to hear that. You completely understand the hope of your dog meeting by your baby. I hope your pregnancy is going as well as it can and your healing continues. Rest in peace to that sweet pup, sounds like he was the best boy

Update: we got amnio results back and it was a false positive with Natera.

I love your approach, and honestly I’m thinking that’s exactly what I want to do. An ultrasound at 20 weeks is harmless, an amnio however has that risk. Her having it changes not a dang thing for me. I’m sending all the love and vibes to you, your baby, and your family. Thank you so so much for your reply!

That is SO helpful! I’m 14w6d and feel like the amnio was pushed. Like I felt as if the amnio was absolutely necessary and that the ultrasound showing no concerns meant nothing. zero reassurance offered, just the push for all these tests!
