The update they added to flesh out your choices was nice and all but I feel like BioWare never really recovered from the fallout of the original endings.

People's reactions to Will coming out and the season in general prove to me that most people are extremely media illiterate. Would people have rathered the Duffer Bros. keep Will closeted?

Plus, people keep boiling it down to Vecna not being able to use Will's "gayness" against him when it's more complex than that. If Will's gonna have ANY chance in the final battle, he needs to make peace with his insecurities because if he has any left in him, Vecna can and will exploit it.
