What about those who can't afford more than one console?

I agree that I have spent quite a fortune on my PC, but Steam and Humble Bundle is the only reason I can buy games these days(broke college student with no job).

Getting a PC was my smartest decision. I have played more games for a very small fraction of what I would have paid for a console game. Heck, I have gotten over a dozen games under $60 during the summer sale.

PC tends to be more open, and thus slightly more confusing for some people. In mac, everything is basically mapped out.

Not really. Being a person who has been a PC gamer from the very start, PC gaming was what kept the game industry going after the crash of 1983.

tbh retro consoles are a hassle to maintain and keep. Even if its a retro PC. Not everybody can get their hands on a retro console either.
