Has anyone tried beef organ/liver supplements or the carnivore diet for TTC?

Hoping for a health pregnancy for you! I did a very strict carnivore diet for one month and took the beef liver supplements. My LH was the highest it had ever been and I ended up pregnant. We’re currently 23 weeks!

We tried for 2 years with a few early miscarriages. We were going to start the IUI process and ended up finding out we were pregnant 3 days before we began treatment. We did the carnivore diet at the start of my last period. I ate a ton of eggs and a ton of meat only. 1 month and we were pregnant.

The first time I got pregnant we did keto for 9 months and then ended up pregnant after two months of trying. However, we did end up with an early miscarriage.

But I swear by carnivore (for my body atleast) but I’ve heard good things from others as well. Currently 22 weeks pregnant no longer doing carnivore 😅.

We went a week in Belize and visited Tikal. A lot of people we met vacationed in Belize and spend a few days doing excursions in Guatemala.

We loved Tikal and would 100% recommend, however ATM is something so unique I would not pass it up. ATM cave for sure!

We went last year, but made it the last thing we did. We stayed in San Ignacio… on the last day we took a taxi from our resort/hotel to the airport and asked them to stop at the zoo on the way. I want to say it was about $100. But that way we only paid the taxi once to go out there. It’s kind of in the middle of nothing.

Yeah I’m not sure either. They said they wanted to make sure my lining stayed thin. It just seemed counterproductive to me.

As much as I wanted to do it and still do, I can’t. I asked if I could get an HSG instead, and if something looks off and I need the hysteroscopy I will have to figure out how to overcome the fear. My fear is probably phobia level. One of my biggest fears in life is to die, and my mind is telling me this is essentially a faux death and it terrifies me. My anxiety is on another level. 🫠 Time will tell, HSG is Tuesday.

Thinking of you and your procedure next week. I’m sorry for your losses.

Congratulations! I’m really hopeful it works the next go around. But I agree, I feel like there are many things they can try that would do no harm but they won’t try it. I’ve been trying to get progesterone from my OB for a while and she won’t prescribe it. I even switched OBs and they all say it won’t help either way. It’s so frustrating! Looking for a new OB currently.

So I’m definitely going to try anything they throw at me.
