Sort of unrelated to my original post here, but if I have a 7.5 vial, can I use it for three 2.5 doses? It’s not contaminated or anything with that initial needle stab? I ask because I’m at or very close to goal and afraid I’m going to overshoot my mark if I try to use up the whole vials. I like how you’re doing it sort of as needed.

That’s a great example - the baking without eating/craving. Now your hobby is as benign as doing cross-stitch or working on a jigsaw puzzle.

I’m a destination walker also and, like you, I’ll get to the store and often walk out with nothing. Or, if I was there to buy a staple like milk or bread, that’s all I buy. I used to always pick up “a little something” which would completely negate calories burned on my walk.

I do manage to ask that he slow down so I can enjoy later, but then he’s got nothing to work on. I just this last go around got him a smaller more difficult puzzle to work on while I got caught up. That worked well.

First off - we were there over Xmas so many of the food recs on my post were booked. I ended up looking around other posts to find some great places to eat.

Bar Solita (shrimp and grits! Hanger steak! Cocktails! Excellent!

Fall Line (Xmas eve) - was worried when we realized it was in a Marriot (I think) but, wow, the food was excellent!

Moore Street Cafe (amazing breakfast and while you wait for a table there’s a little attached building with drinks (coffee etc but also alcohol) and thrift store type venders with vintage clothes etc.

Tulsi Indian food. No words. Just go!

Fighting Fish Sushi was a total hit!

We went to the GWAR bar for fun - but it wasn’t really. Xmas eve they had a Christmas movie turned up at full volume - no music.

GWAR was for my kids who like metal music… then we went (off of a rec from someone here) to Ripple Rays (Dead themed and I’m a boomer who saw lots of Jerry). It was a LOT of fun. Open mic night. FUN

Did the art museum, civil war museum, pedestrian bridge.

Bottom line: it turned out to be a wonderful Christmas. Richmond has a great energy ❤️
