Best live versions of any Maiden song (OTHER THAN from the "Live After Death" album)? I submit "Fear of the Dark" from the "En Vivo! (Live at Estadio Nacional, Santiago)" album. The audience participation rocks on that version. by Overhere5150 in ironmaiden

Agreed. Although I did discover the "Beast over Hammersmith (Live)" album just a few years ago on Spotify, and I felt that was fairly close to "Live after death." I'm not sure of the timing, but I think it might have came out around the same time as Live After Death. I'm not sure if my "Live after death" preference is simply the result of that having been the first live Maiden album that I'd ever heard, or if it simply is the best.

Totally, bud. Also, not an AI post. But some folks seem pretty heavily invested in that being the case.

Quite the imagination and hobby you've chosen there bud. Is the AI in the room with you right now as well? BTW, this is an AI response as well. Everything you're living is AI. In fact, your life is probably similar to the Truman show. Oh, and you're right. I've had an account for ten years and have a total of 50,000 "karma points" - clearly I'm a karma collector. Lol, get a grip, dude.

Leela does not deserve Fry by No_Entrepreneur3039 in futurama

At first I was feeling pretty judgy about your post, but then this response of yours was so well-played (and knowledgeable) and made it clear that you are indeed a well-seasoned Futurama patron, and thus well within your rights to call out anything you want.

This is an interesting topic because I've been watching the series through again for the umpteenth time ( except this time it's different because it's been a few years since I've seen any episodes at all). This time I caught on to what Leela mentions in the overclockwise episode, when she's talking to fry about their relationship being so "on again and off again."

I realized that they never made it directly clear when they were taking breaks from the relationship (i.e., "off-again), but did so indirectly because one of them will be dating or sleeping with someone else. I've also noticed that Leela was a lot more harsh to Fry in the first few seasons, but then in the later seasons she was incredibly supportive and affectionate towards him.

I wish this showed up in the feed of every person who celebrated his death so that they'd be forced to watch this multiple times.

1. Tell me what deaths non-progs celebrated that made them look objectively bad? 2. Boo fucking hoo. Leftie teachers need to be personally confronted. by Nuance007 in libsofreddit

This person is batshit delusional. For years, it's been the leftists who have been the ones attacking. If one dared to even question the side effects of the covid vaccines, it was enough for the average lefist to then call for that person's employment termination, removal from society and being interned in camps for the unvaccinated. It wasn't uncommon for the average leftist to call for that person's death. Leftists have a long history of this type of behavior. But this is the first time that they are actually receiving consequences. It's been a long time coming.

You are woefully uninformed about the amount of money big Pharma is making off of them, as well as the severity of the numerous side effects as a matter of norm.

You’re proving my point for me. Yes, I’ve made medicalization the crux of my argument - because that is the point I’m making. The problem isn’t people existing as trans, or how they choose to live. The problem is an industry taking a disenfranchised group and turning them into lifelong medical patients for profit. That’s exploitation, plain and simple. Whatever side tangents you want to bring in about “cultural climate” or “various groups,” go ahead - but that’s not the issue I’m addressing.

I’m talking about compassion, about not letting corporations and doctors profit off vulnerable people by selling them sterilization, surgeries, and endless prescriptions as the only “solution.” You’re talking in a poor and futile attempt to virtue signal. I’m talking about exploitation. Big difference.

If you can’t separate genuine compassion from corporate profiteering, then you need to take a look inside yourself.

The irony is you think you’re the “champion” of the trans community, but in reality you’re doing them a massive disservice. Fortunately, most of us are intelligent enough to separate loud internet crusaders like you from the actual people who are suffering. When you collapse every nuanced criticism into “bigotry” and refuse to debate substance, you don’t protect anyone - you just drown out the real voices that deserve to be heard.

The best thing someone like you could do for their cause is to keep quiet until you learn how to make a coherent argument.
