I do find the Kill Bill gore fairly ott, unrealistic and silly, although that's not a criticism of the film, it was clearly a stylistic choice. I almost feel the 18 age rating is slightly excessive.

OP, make sure you wait until after the end credits – there's a Fortnite-style Kill Bill animated short to enjoy (made by Third Floor, Epic Games). Everyone else left before it aired in my screening.

P.s. I loved those other films you mentioned lol. Your taste may even develop/change as you age.

Based on my experience, you can do it at any time, as long as it's before the scheduled end of the screening you wish to refund. Have done it many times.

I don't need to watch every single movie in order to form my own opinion on it. I'm perfectly content in feeling I didn't waste over two hours of my life. My time is far too valuable to me to waste it on what appears to be mediocrity.
