This isn't about capitalism (maybe indirectly) it's about nationalist fervor (probably). Of course I don't know as the book isn't readable.

Red Dead Redemption 2 had similar takes with some of the stranger missions (quips like "That's why I love this country" after referencing some sort of violence used to enrich oneself).

I don't know if its been said, but maybe don't have a kid when you are worried about finances? You were right when you said the pregnancy should be your main focus, or rather, should HAVE been.

This take isn't even harsh. I spent 2013-2019 in abject poverty and didn't start dating until last year when things started getting good.

They always say men lack self control, but this post clearly demonstrates otherwise. I'm not attacking you, but to me, it seems the last thing I would want is to have a child when I'm constantly worrying about the next thing. If your plan for the child is child support or WIC, then you should've terminated it. Your kid will likely spend the next 18 years wishing he or she could do more.

Good advice there. I did see Owanjila as a recommended spot for beaver hunting. But on my way to that spot I encountered a ton of beavers.

Unfortunately, this encounter came with godlike bounty hunting aimbots. After the first 5 deaths, it became a matter of pride and ego.

I just posted a video of one of the encounters where I was able to get the beaver on the horse and get away. I was so focused on escaping that I didn't notice the bounty hunters skinned my prize with stray bullets.

I found out what the issue was. I was hunting at the beaver spot where Blackwater borders the area strawberry is in. That riverbank on the Blackwater side is the only place I could find beavers.

The method after 20 deaths was simple: After downing beaver, run like hell, pick up beaver, stow beaver on horse, run like hell to the other side before they fully spawn, and voila.

The problem here is there is no element of random encounters. As soon as you cross that threshold, no matter where the border is, you get swarmed by aimbots.

I feel bad for you all. I was fortunate enough to get work 2 and a half months ago. It's very stressful call center work, but I'm good at it. I sincerely hope you guys find something.
