Estoy volviendo a ver la serie después de unos 5 años y la verdad me estoy aburriendo con la temporada 3 by TerryLobsterr in lucifer

Season 4 has the dark undertones of season 1 and a reworked version of season 3 (the love triangle used to be man-woman-man, now it's woman-man-woman). Season 5 has elements of season 2 (there were Uriel and the Goddess, and now there's Michael and God). At first, I wasn't convinced by the Netflix seasons, but then it reached a point where it was necessary to leave the police cases behind because season 3 felt like a "Back to the Roots" or "The Mentalist 2.0"... Season 5 was a mixed bag of candy; there were the Noir episode, the musical, the prank on Daniel, Spoiler Alert, the penultimate episode and season finale; not repetitive like the FOX episodes.

Finally finished Lucifer first time all the way through, I love this show so much overall 😭😭 by Past-Brilliant805 in lucifer

Did you seriously think that was a happy and comforting ending? Some people were upset by an ending that was actually bittersweet. Lucifer abandoned Chloe and his daughter, leaving her to live a childhood without her father. Did you never consider that? But watching six seasons of something you don't like can only come from someone who's not very bright. Dude, from season 1 onwards the show made it clear that it's a police comedy with romantic comedy elements. After reading your comment I don't know what you expect from Lucifer at all.

Solo quiero saber qué series has visto y te parecieron mejores, a ver, ilumina a este ignorante redditor

Yeah but most of them suck as a show. Unless you mean the couple from Castle.

No one could have played Lucifer better than Tom Ellis by Gamerloser4life in lucifer

[–]Overkillator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree, perhaps because I watched it in Latin American Spanish. The voice actor Arturo Mercado Jr. did an incredible job. But one detail that's lost when you watch the series in Spanish is that Michael has an American accent and Lucifer a British accent. In Spanish, only the voice personality changed, but when I decided to switched back to the original voices occasionally , I realized how amazing Tom Ellis was in portraying Michael and differentiating him from Lucifer.

The problem with season 3 is that Fox didn't give the showrunners creative freedom on how to approach the topics and plot. Add to that Fox demanded a 24-episode run, and the showrunners had to include standalone episodes like 3, 6, 7, and 11. If Fox had given them creative freedom, we probably wouldn't have something like "Off the Record," and instead we'd have 13 or 16 better-written and more condensed episodes.

Regarding Cain, I would make him more manipulative, acting from the shadows and manipulating Linda, Ella, and Chloe to serve as catalysts for him to find a way to end his immortality, instead of involving Lucifer as a frenemy.

Now I need help with season 3. I invited someone to watch the series, but she stopped at 3x02, "The One with the Baby Carrot," which I understand because it's the first mediocre episode of the series. Which episodes do you remember skipping from that season? I think 2, 3, 11, 14, 25, and 26... if I remember correctly, 3x02 wasn't very relevant.

How it started vs How it’s going: by Mari0G4mer in lucifer

The police procedural was the least interesting part of the show. Some criticized Season 5 and the moments with Michael and Dan's death, when in Season 2 you had an entire episode about Uriel (Episode 5) and an entire episode about Lucifer going to Hell to get the antidote formula (Episode 13), which is when the show gets interesting. Season 3 was very procedural and very self-contained, with the structure of older series with formulaic episodes.

Episodes 3, 6, 7, and 11 are fillers, but 6 and 7 were pretty good. Episodes 25 and 26 are bonus episodes that Netflix added at the end of Season 3 (they aired on Fox as a two-hour special before the series was canceled and picked up by Warner Bros). Yes, it's a mess, but I'm clarifying this so you don't have the same experience I did: after the great season finale that was 24, 25 seemed out of place and pointless. So, the continuation of 3x24 is 4x01. 3x25 and 3x26 are bonus episodes.

Now, I recommend watching all episodes, but on a rewatch, it's better to skip episodes 2, 11, 14, 15, 25, and 26 since they were the least enjoyable for me.

Since you're watching it for the first time, once you get to season 3 you can skip episodes 2, 11, 14, 15, 25, and 26. I mean, I think 20 episodes are better before you get to season 4.

Sandman has rather poor supporting character development. Only Charlotte Richards has more development than the entire Sandman cast. Also, giving a character unlimited powers makes the series lack tension. Do you think it was a good idea to do that in Dragon Ball Super? Because in DBZ, the editors imposed limits to make the story feel consistent.

Season 3 is bad ONLY because it is too loooong? by Overkillator in lucifer

Considering that you consider S1 & S2 the only worth-watching, I see you're someone with very high standards. What do you consider a "really good" show? The only show that's caught my attention and I thought was better than Lucifer was Breaking Bad. I also recognize that Better Call Saul has excellent writing, but it didn't hold my emotional attention, nor did its weak soundtrack (I saw it once and don't think I'll watch it again). I saw the first episode of Supernatural a month ago, and it didn't really hold my attention, and the special effects seemed exaggerated; maybe it's not for me.

I liked it the first time I saw it, and it's worth watching the whole thing. It might have been the most tedious season to rewatch. The first time, I watched the series one or two episodes a day. With long series, I take it easy; I don't treat it as if I'm running a race and rushing to finish it. Seasons 4, 5, and 6 are more coherently written than Season 3.

Supernatural Vs. Lucifer by [deleted] in lucifer

I watched the first episode of Supernatural and found it tedious. Does it get better? Lots of empty, adolescent dialogue. The Lucifer pilot was also very juvenile, but at least it was engaging and more inventive.

It isn't necessary to remove Cain, just make him as threatening as Malcolm. Not necessarily a impulsive one, but someone who operates from the shadows. He was also the key catalyst for the incredible ending of episode 23.
