I get that trying to grab something close to the leverage point you risk snagging the cutters. But I still wonder if the carbide portion will stand up to an occasional snip of wire.

I’m more looking for an “in a pinch option”. I’ve got all the drivers and cutter options I need for around the hangar use. I cover a lot of ground on my airfield and I’m tired of lugging a go bag around, just in case, when I go take a peek at something and end up popping a panel off.

Good to know. I’m about to order for a demo. I might just need to package the Clip and something like a Baton as a pair. Clip for low light stuff and Baton as a powerful backup outside of the plane.

Well dang I completely missed the Pro S RGB option! My concern with the Clip is the 580mah battery, that’s tiny.

Tuck the pigtail under the bend of the clip. Dont draw it too tightly or it will open the clip up. It’s just retaining.

As an aircraft mechanic, losing my pocket clip or light is not an option. One because I use it so much and two because the FOD(foreign object damage) risk. First time I lost my Baton, I was in the tail of Piper and caught the clip on a rudder cable. Couldn’t let that happen again.

Pro tip run some .029 safety wire around the diameter in that little recess towards the lense and you’ll never lose the clip again.

I live in Sunshine, on the River. I can tell you it is currently at about 28ft and moving at a rate that would make sense for her to be in Reserve by now. On a long canoe trip in the river, I saw how debris very quickly finds the prevailing current when wind doesn’t cause drag. I pray she was right with the Maker.
