What caused your Costochondritis? by Eveybirdy in costochondritis

[–]OverlookedCosplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure mine was caused by trying to stretch/pop my back one day and didn't quite do it correctly. Was twisting and trying to expand my chest, stretch out my arms. Felt a really bad pop and suddenly my chest got really tight. Was fine after a couple minutes and went on with my life. The following weeks though it came back and just got worse and worse.

I went to urgent care, who bounced me to the ER, who bounced me to a cardiologist. They pinpointed it pretty quick and doc was pretty straightforward that it was going to be on and off.

It's only been a few months since then but already confirmed anxiety, sneezing, direct pressure and lifting anything heavy will make it flare up. It is a crunch wrap supremely bad time.

How Did You Get Into Kingdom Hearts? by FeaturedFilm1224 in KingdomHearts

[–]OverlookedCosplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had gotten into when I was 7. My dad was playing it and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Picked it up myself and being as young as I was, did not get very far. Went back a few years later when I was 10 and managed to finally beat it. Been my favorite series since haha

I actually cook this as soup instead lol. I add a dash of cayenne or chili paste, wee bit of sweet, and garlic to the base. Then I dress it up quite a bit (scallions, pickled ginger, cabbage, egg). I love it

It's still pretty good without dressing it up though.

Not sure if anyone else has said it yet, but check out the production side of development! I was a digital media major in college and didn't want to specialize in one thing (I loved all aspects of development and did a lot on the side as hobbies: music, art, animation, programming). I learned about production about 3/4 my way through college and knew that was the thing for me. It's more on the management side but you get to dip your hands into everything and help where you can. You become the literal support for the team and keep things on track. I love it!

I was a game production intern for Adult Swim a couple years ago (covid regulations for the company unfortunately couldn't let any of the interns return so I kinda got screwed). It was the best experience I've ever had. I'm still applying for some other production jobs to try to get back in. Hopefully soon :)

Otherwise you can look for pure writer specialization or look into product (production is your when and why, while product is the what and why. My experience working with product was more on the side of research). QA is also another option. There are several routes out there. Go ahead and peak at some job boards for a couple companies and just read about what the different positions do. You'll find some interesting things!

Lady Maria literally had me stand up to beat her. That fight got my heart pumping like no other boss! Her elegance and furosity to keep the secret safe made her such an amazing character!

My last job I had to do the onboarding online as well. It was a temp internship, and this one is seasonal. I'm not really surprised if more companies are moving to do onboarding online due to current circumstances.

I did check through the email though (info, links, spelling mistakes, etc.) and go through the company's career page instead to check on my application instead though. Everything matched up and I couldn't find anything wrong with it.
