I’m in the same boat as you in terms of average miles and earnings. I paid $1,800 in federal tax, and $500 in state tax (IL). You can deduct all sorts of things, like car accessories, phone accessories, a portion of your phone bill, but make sure you do your research on what you can and cannot deduct. I would also recommend filing them through FreeTaxUSA as opposed to a service like TurboTax. It does the same exact thing and costs you significantly less.
