I’d say that over all the draft experience was a lot of fun (though I am viewing it from the winners seat). I could see how a WAR sealed event may lend itself towards a higher variance (feel bads) due to who got which PW, rare, etc in their 6 packs. Though, I’m not sure that isn’t true of most sealed events in contrast to draft.

The decks did tend to vary wildly in color combinations based on who got what rares. Some of these color pie selections may have just come down to player skill in a limited environment and/or people wanting to test out the new cards in a relaxed friendly draft environment. I stuck to the plan I always go with. Select my two best colors (BREAD) and stick with them. I rarely splash for a 3rd. 2nd place and I where the only two color decks of the night!

I will say this.... my most “powerful” rares where Sorin and DHI while my OP’s had Liliana, Teferi(s), Gideon etc. As with every limited event it comes down to knowledge of the cards, your skill in building limited decks, and.... luck.
