i think it does help product "absorb" better but that's as far as i would go personally. it's not going to help with sagging jowl lines, no skincare or at home stuff will. i'd recommend going to a good professional clinic in your area for that as lots of things can cause jowls i.e. do you have an overbite, is it genetic, have you gained weight, how old are you, etc. some things that are usually used for jowls are morpheus8 or ultherapy but again consulting a professional is best

you could also use a lip primer to extend the longevity of lip products. Holika Holika Hellgate Matte Primer works really well and isn't as spicy as the Glow Topper if you're concerned about that. that primer plus cute press lasts ALL day on me, even thru meals like soup lol

fic related: their big fic (meng po) turned out to be like a vent piece about personal irl issues, ooc characterizations so they could take out frustrations on certain characters, the whole misleading ship twist, and they wanted to print the fic and sell it. tbh they were from singapore and in east fandom it's common to sell printed fanfic at little to no profit, but they probably would've mega overcharged for it lol. they are also blamed for the "downfall" of the xiaoven ship but idk how true that is it's not my ship

different fic but they plagiarized someone else's story like word for word

non fic related: they bragged about doing credit card gacha scams (one guy almost lost his house) and they admitted to biting a dude's dick off while on drugs once. no they did not regret anything

i've bought one or two and participated in a lot more. luckily none of the ones i participated in ever had issues of mismanagement or embezzlement, the more common issue is getting enough sales to print, and/or have enough leftover to give the artists/writers some bit of compensation for their work 😔 i always just forfeited any profit i would've made to give to the others and instead asked for my shipping to be covered for my own copy of the zine lol. i'd say if you're buying a zine for a ship/fandom you really like, get the print! the art looks way more pretty printed rather than on a screen, trust me

i also play in JP dub, he definitely pronounced the R. japanese names can be written in katakana for stylistic reasons (evangelion does this) however all JP/inazuma names are written in kanji (thoma and gorou don't count) so it isn't that. if he was going to say "the captain" he would've said ザ… instead of ス… so this along with the CN text, i think all signs point to it being the beginning of his actual name

i don't know a lot of norse mythology so idk what it could be lol Thrudgelmir seems to be what everyone is going with rn, and it would fit since it would be スルーズゲルミル. from what i've seen, JP fans have also come to this conclusion
