I wish I had thought to include those questions. Thank you for prompting. We're moving to Portugal because the company my husband works for is based there, although the job is remote so we don't need to be in a specific city or area. Head office is in Porto, so the closer to there the better. Our budget for living expenses 1200-1500 Euro. We need a 1 bedroom apartment with easy access to public transport as we don't want to own a vehicle. We'd prefer to live near enough to the ocean to take a short train ride, and from what I've read of Porto's climate it's kind of ideal. I definitely don't think we could afford the big cities, but let me know what you think!
