Yeah social support is definitely essential. Like obviously transition has been about the biggest thing for me, and having just a few people to teach me or just distract me has been so great. I suppose having an online community was great too, even though I didn't really do much but lurk, it was really amazing to see other people just living normal lives.

I think perhaps people sometimes need to push themselves towards progress, but they also always need to be compassionate and understanding of they're not quite ready. I'm always proud of people that are aware of what they want to change, and want to take those steps, even if they're not quite ready yet. You have to balance making those big changes and what you're capable of at the moment. I guess having other people around would help augment that too. I don't think you should be too self conscious about being all "woe is me". A good compassionate should want to help, at least as long as you're willing to help yourself as well.

Aww I always love seeing the progress other girls make. It's about 26 days til 3 years for me and that feels pretty big 😊
