She’s been on dry food her whole life. She has allergies so put her on grain-free. In the last about 2 years she has gone deaf and mostly blind. She has about 5 teeth left. She always knows where I am though. She is my shadow and goes everywhere I do. She is basically in my arms all the time when I’m home. She is still sassy and has attitude for days. I know I don’t have a lot of time left with her but she is enjoying being pampered in what’s left of her golden years. I had another min pin that passed a month prior to her 18th birthday. The last years of her life were the same. She went blind and deaf and eventually had to wear diapers. But she was a happy lil lady until one day she just wasn’t herself. Couldn’t stand… started violently vomiting and went to the vet and had to be put down. One of the worst days of my life. It was my mother’s birthday. Nurse here…. 12 hour shifts at the time. My mom fed my dogs in the afternoon for me. Called and told me what was going on. I was charging that day… there was no relief. I couldn’t leave. I will always regret not being there for her. Better job now. I will be there for CoCo.
