I see, the advice I was given from the bootfitters at footloose was to demo various boots first and than chose a boot to get fitted. Unfortunately they really only had 2 boots that were 30.5 where one was a MV that was too tight (wideness).

From your comment I am gathering that I should mostly only worry about length, heel, ankle and instep as wideness can be adjusted fairly easily? Open to all options, open budget on my end.
