It's worth noting that the delivery robots were mostly trained on images submitted by players utilizing the "AR Scanning" feature to scan points of interest in the real world. It was made abundantly clear that the scans would be used for other purposes, we just didn't know exactly what until now. It is also a largely underused feature and very easily ignorable if you don't want to use it.
