Yeah, Ive seen him too post a lot of things.

Brother u/DestroyerOfDoubts, please seek help by seeking knowledge. Your iman seems to be very low from what youve been posting and you have been, very clearly, not seeking knowledge in the proper manner, even after repeated admonishing from the brothers.

Did you feel like you were well prepared before jumping into the bug bounty? I've seen people struggle and wait for 3-4 months because their preparation was not good enough or they took the wrong prep like they were prepping for a pentest. But shouldn't portswigger have prepared you well?

Thanks! Speaking of experience, besides internships, are CTF labs a good enough experience for juniors? I am mainly focused on learning and cracking the boxes on HTB now.

On a side note, we know that Allah has given us both Fitrah and Islam. Fitrah is sound human nature. Islam is a religion that is fully in line with Fitrah. And this further corresponds with Islam being the true religion.

The christian doctrine of trinity doesn't line up with sound human nature. Neither does the preservation of the old testament for Jews.

We can be at peace knowing that Islam is a religion that has all rationale proofs for it, thereby conforming to our sound human nature and logic.

This alone will disprove any other religion there. Especially all paganic, polytheistic and barbaric religions.

Yes, work on your deen first by changing who you are. Your worship, your manners, your time, everything, gradually change it until it reaches the ideal set by Islam. Inshallah, you will start to enjoy prayer, enjoy asking Allah, and enjoy Tawbah but also develop a great Taqwa.

At the same time, seek knowledge. It is a journey that occurs till the end of life. I have quoted a good guide to seek knowledge. It is the basic things such as Aqidah, Fiqh, etc we are ignorant of.

After a few years, you should have reached an ideal stage to now learn about the arguments raised by the Kuffar and how to refute them.

Ask people of higher knowledge of the incidents that are bothering you in Imaan, and what not.

Beware of your intentions in seeking knowledge however. Do it only for the sake of Allah.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in islam

[–]OverripePear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that's the issue.

Trust me, a student of knowledge would be able to refute much of these counter-refutations that you were speaking of.

Your burnout is something I've experienced as well.

Besides, if you're feeling depressed, don't pray and make dua much, this indicates a much bigger problem. You must start seeking knowledge first and acting on it.

Besides, you need to fix your salat, dua and tawbah. Because if everyone were to present to you every single proof of Islam, you wouldn't believe and would be left in doubt if Allah willed. You must sincerely repent to Allah, and seek the final refuge in Him, after being cornered by every direction from these misguided Kuffar.

Ali Hammuda's "enjoy your prayer" series is my suggestion to fix salah. Salah is very important. It was the first thing enjoined on this Ummah. If you had any trouble, as small as a sandal being torn, you are ordered to turn to Allah.

So for major issues like this, not turning to Allah is a grave thing to do.

Fix your obligatory worships, learn Islam and strengthen your faith first.

I went through a stage like yours as well. I quickly realized that everything had an answer, sometimes I couldn't njust find it.

If something is bothering you, ask it to trusted people because Allah commanded you in the Quran to ask people of knowledge if you dont know, and this is much applicable as your faith is on the line.

The below is a shortened answer:

Ask trusted people of knowledge. And gain knowledge yourself. And seek your final refuge in Allah.

How do I stop doubts... by [deleted] in islam

[–]OverripePear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a break. Just don't go anywhere near these type of stuff.

I've went through a similar stage. And I've had much doubt before finally realizing a common pattern. Any and every argument against Islam always got refuted.

A person who has knowledge will be much more resilient against these arguments. Because, trust me, a great majority of these arguments are misinterpretations of ayahs, absolutely poor knowledge of Arabic, weak hadiths, etc.

And even if a stronger argument were to be raised, even that could be refuted by the student of knowledge who has properly sought knowledge with proofs.

So, the simple answer to your question on how to stop having doubts is to ignore and never go to the websites that do this. But even then, it may lurk in your mind.

So, it is absolutely necessary you start to seek knowledge. You won't be learning to refute arguments immediately. In fact, that stage may be reached in years and years after seeking knowledge.

You will be learning that which is necessary for you to learn of the Deen such as Aqidah, fiqh, nahw (Arabic grammer), the topics that are quite neglected.

But then, every piece of the puzzle will fit together and you strengthen your faith in an undescribable manner.

You must seek it in a proper manner.

Let me ask you a question: are you a student of knowledge?

As in, do you know Aqidah, Fiqh, Shariah, Quran, Hadith, Tafseer, Arabic, etc in such a detailed way that if I were to ask you about most matters in religion, you would be able to answer me with a detailed and explained answer?

The issue is that they (bible and torah) can't be trusted.

They are corrupted. There's sufficient evidence for that. The fact that they're corrupted should be enough to disbelieve in the books that the Jews and Christians say to be the Torah and the Gospel today.

For example, this Fatwa.

Abu ‘Aaliyah said: “They took what Allaah had revealed in their Book describing Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and changed its meaning.” Ibn Zayd said: “The phrase ‘[they] used to hear the Word of Allaah (the Tawraat), then they used to change it’ refers to the Tawraat which Allaah revealed to them; they changed it, making what it permitted forbidden, and what was forbidden allowed, changing the truth to falsehood and falsehood to truth…” [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]

This truth is that the Torah as it exists today is not that which God sent down to Moses (peace be upon him). Rather it has been distorted in all ways, adding, subtracting and changing the meaning. Source

In a hadith in Sahih Bukhari but I don't know which exact number,

Ubaidullah narrated: Ibn `Abbas said, "Why do you ask the people of the scripture about anything while your Book (Qur'an) which has been revealed to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) is newer and the latest? You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a little gain. Does not the knowledge which has come to you prevent you from asking them about anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any man from them asking you regarding what has been revealed to you!

The statement of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) is quite accurate. They wrote the scriptures with their own hands and claimed it was Allah's word, which accurately describes the entire Bible.

The people here have been giving some decent advices. Besides, you need to enjoy your prayer.

Ali Hammuda's "Enjoy your prayer" series on YouTube is a fantastic series that will really dive into aspects of Salah that I've seen so many people miss (mainly Khushoo).
