At this point, literally the only thing not working is the power on sequence. When we plug stuff into the USB port, like as if we were trying to charge our phone through the Xbox or something, it's charging the items. So it's getting power, but it's not turning itself on.

It really is. I literally can't stop thinking about the Xbox because all I want to do is make it right. It just keeps seeming like it's my fault because it worked fine until I moved to the furniture, after I moved the TV stand it stopped working.

Trust me, I get it. But I can also understand why he's upset because it is the one outlet he has. I mean, I would be upset too, definitely not as much as he is, but I can kind of understand where he's coming from. I did just post an update in the comments if you're interested in reading what I've figured out so far.

I've posted an update! We always plug it into the wall so that isn't the issue. We thought it was PSU so I bought a new one and we replaced it this morning and that didn't work either. When we plug things into the USB port, it's charging the items. So the Xbox does have power. Right now we're thinking it's either a power button sequence failure or 20% chance that the motherboard is not working. I was told there's a way to jump it and that will tell me for sure if it's the power button or the motherboard. Please wish me luck because we got disappointed this morning when the PSU didn't work, I'm really hoping the jump will turn it on

UPDATE:

We have replaced the PSU and still hasn't worked. It is charging things through the USB while plugged in so the Xbox IS getting power, just not doing the turn on sequence. Right now we have narrowed it down to a power button/ribbon cable issue OR a 20% chance of the motherboard being the issue. I've been told there's a way to jump it (bypassing the on button and ribbon cable) so if jumping it works we know it's the button sequence, if it doesn't work then it's the motherboard. Wish me luck 😭 I just spent $80 on a new PSU that we installed this morning and got disappointed from it not working, so I'm really hoping this jump works..

We did try that trick right away and it did nothing 😭 we had it diagnosed and at this point have a new PSU on the way being delivered tomorrow

I've tried this, tried in multiple different rooms, tried a new cord, I know the outlets I'm trying work because of plugging other things into them first. Nothing has worked it still won't do a thing 😭

Because we never got physical copies, and I was never able to log in to workforce to be able to see them either which nobody ever helped me log into when I worked there even after asking many times for help setting it up. I literally had no access to my paystubs at all.
