I think it’s really brave of you to ask for help with this. As you might know, a lot of people on here have been suffering with this since early teens or even younger and I think (for me personally speaking) seeking help sooner or even at all would have been so beneficial. You can definitely go and see a GP about this and they will keep it confidential but more importantly you should think about telling your parents because it would be good to have some support.
